Setting up your own entity costs about $210,000 on average and can take 12 months or more. Through an Employer of Record your hire can start in 5–10 business days, and operating costs can be up to 92% lower. You can still set up an entity later.
With Global Expansion, a new hire can be legally employed and working in 5–10 business days. Setting up your own entity can take 12 months or more. Hires who need a work permit take longer, depending on the country's visa process.
Choose an EOR to hire quickly, test a market or employ a small team without legal presence. Set up an entity when the country becomes a long-term base with a larger team. Many companies start with an EOR and move people to their own entity later.

So businesses can hire the best talent, anywhere. That's been the job since 2020.
Global Expansion was founded in 2020 alongside Equus Software, the global mobility platform, by people who had spent years moving employees across borders for large companies.
They saw the same problem again and again: providers would take on the easy countries and the simple hires, and leave the hard cases to the client. We set out to do the opposite.
Today we employ people for clients in 222 markets, with in-country experts who give a straight answer and then make it happen.
Four ideas we hire for and hold each other to.
We find the way through, especially when the hire is complicated.
Your plans change. Our service changes with them.
Payslips, contracts and filings done right the first time.
Behind every hire is a person moving their life. We never forget it.

This policy explains what personal information Global Expansion collects through this website, why, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It covers the website and the enquiry forms on it. It doesn't cover the services we provide to clients and their employees; those are governed by our client agreements and data processing terms.
This website is run by [registered company name], trading as Global Expansion, of [registered address] ("Global Expansion", "we", "us"). For the information described here, we are the data controller.
We have offices in Denver (headquarters) and Plano in the United States, London in the United Kingdom, Lisbon in Portugal and Quezon City in the Philippines, and work with in-country partners in the markets we serve.
What you tell us. When you send the "Talk to an expert" form, we collect your first and last name, work email, company, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, job title, the services and countries you're interested in, how many people you plan to hire, your timeline and your message. When you send the "Become a partner" form, we collect your name, work email, firm, type of firm and your message. We also record that you ticked the consent box.
Collected automatically when you send a form. The page you sent it from, the page you first arrived on, the website that referred you, any campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source or utm_campaign), your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string (which identifies the browser and device type). We use these to understand which pages and campaigns bring enquiries, and to block spam and abuse.
When you browse. Like most websites, our servers may keep short-term technical logs (such as IP address, pages requested and time) to keep the site running securely. If you accept analytics cookies, we also collect usage information as described under Cookies and analytics below.
Please don't send sensitive information (such as health details or immigration documents) through the website forms. If we need it to help you, we'll arrange a secure way to share it.
We will only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them or where the law otherwise allows it, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
When you send a form, your details are stored in our customer relationship management system (CRM), which runs on servers we control. Our team uses the CRM to review enquiries, assign them to the right expert, track progress and keep notes of our conversations with you.
At the same time, a copy of your enquiry is emailed to the members of our team who handle new enquiries, and to the colleague it is later assigned to, so they can respond quickly. These emails are sent through our email provider and stored in our team's business mailboxes.
Access to the CRM is limited to authorised Global Expansion staff, each with their own password-protected account.
We work across many countries, so your information may be accessed from or stored in countries other than your own, including the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union and the Philippines. Where data protection law requires it, we protect these transfers with recognised safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or rely on an adequacy decision. You can ask us for more detail using the contact details below.
We keep enquiry records in the CRM while we are discussing your needs and, if you don't become a client, for up to three years after our last contact so we have a record of what we discussed. If you become a client, we keep the information as part of the client relationship for as long as our agreement requires and the law allows. Copies in our team's email are deleted on the same basis. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and then deleted. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see Your rights).
We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) to this website, individual accounts and role-based access for our staff, hashed passwords and regular backups. Global Expansion is ISO 27001 certified for information security management.

We'd appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
Strictly necessary. The website works without setting cookies for visitors. To connect an enquiry to the page and campaign that brought you, it keeps a small note (your landing page, referrer and campaign tags) in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab, and only sends it to us if you submit a form.
Analytics and ad measurement (optional). If we use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics or Google Ads conversion tracking, we ask for your permission first. They only set cookies if you choose "Accept". They help us understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages and guides are most read) and whether our ads lead to enquiries. We don't use them to personalise ads to you. If you choose "Reject", these tools run in a restricted mode that doesn't use analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie settings link, which also appears at the bottom of every page.
